Ambassador Deborah L. Birx, the White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator, was in Mississippi on Wednesday conferring with Gov. Tate Reeves and other state officials. While in the state, Dr. Birx reached out to ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ for a virtual review of COVID-19 protocols and to congratulate ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ for successfully managing the COVID-19 pandemic on campus and with the surrounding community.Ìý Birx offered ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ President Mark E. Keenum, Executive Vice President and Provost Dr. David Shaw and Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Regina Y. Hyatt advice on managing the pandemic moving forward.
